A magical introduction to classical music for young audiences.
Join SouthEastern Young Artists for a delightful, family-friendly performance of Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf — the beloved musical tale where each character comes to life through a different instrument in the orchestra.
Designed especially for young audiences, this narrated performance is the perfect introduction to classical music, storytelling, and the colorful sounds of the orchestra. Children will learn to recognize instruments like the clarinet (the cat), the oboe (the duck), and the bold French horn (the wolf), while enjoying a whimsical and engaging story brought to life by live musicians.
Tickets are first come, first served at the library on the day of the event and we will begin giving out those tickets 30 minutes before the performance. Thank for understanding that we do not take advance registration.
